Newborn Must-haves: Products I’m Loving Right Now

I never got around to typing a post like this when Oakley was born. Now that I’m on baby number two, I feel like I can confidently say what products I actually love and have used the most with Easton. Some of these items are new finds and some are ones I used with Oakley and I would call my “holy-grail” products if you will. I linked what I could at the end of this post 🙂

1. Solly Wrap- I wore Oakley in these wraps all the time when he was a baby and I swear by them. I now wear Easton in them and it’s a game changer trying to take care of an active toddler because I can have my hands free and I know he’ll be safe haha. 
2. Electric Nasal Aspirator- This is way better than the Nose Frida in my opinion. You literally don’t have to do anything but turn it on and suck up the boogers. There are 3 speeds and it works so well! I already had to use a couple times because Easton will spit up through is nose or sneeze and sometimes there are crusty boogers that need help coming out. It has music and lights to help distract the baby once they’re older, but I find the song to be annoying and I don’t think I’ll use that feature haha.
3. Rechargeable Night Light- We have used this since night one at home for middle of the night diaper changes. I charged it only once so far, so the charge lasts a long time! The brightness and be adjusted by the touch of your hand as well as turning it off. Makes it so you don’t have to find a switch in the dark!
4. Glass Bottles- After I read that babies who drink from plastic bottles swallow millions of microplastics a day, I decided we will use glass bottles instead. I’m trying out a couple different brands and so far he likes the Philips Avent bottles the best!
5. Micro Gathre Mat- GAME CHANGER. These mats are the best for diaper changes because they can be easily wiped clean. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing in the colors they are offered in, but they are so functional and durable and can be used for so many different things. I want to get one for under Remi’s water and food dish next! LINKED HERE
6. Amazon Sleepers- Such great quality and attractive colors! I got a few of these in different sizes for Easton.
7. Miracle Blanket Swaddle- I used these with Oakley and they were the only blankets he couldn’t escape his arms out of. Once he was able to roll over, we started using a sleep sack, but this swaddle is the best for those first few months of life!
8. Flexible/Portable Bath Tub- Easton is still too little to have a bath with Oakley, so this flexible padded bath tub is so great for comfortable sink baths. It’s easy to travel with too since it folds up and it can be cleaned off easily. 
9. Dock-a-tot- Oakley loved it and now so does Easton. He sleeps in this most of the day and I like how there are handles on the sides so I can carry him to different parts of the house easily. 
10. Bibs Pacifiers- Another item Oakley used as a baby that Easton also likes. I like the simplicity of their design and the natural colors they come in.
