Cozy At Home: My Reading List

in Lifestyle on 11/13/21

My ideal cozy day would include an iced vanilla chai while I snuggle up with my favorite cozy blanket and a good book. Reading is one of my favorite past-times and my goal is to read at least five new books this season. In this post I will share what I’m currently reading and what is on my list to read next in case you need some ideas too! I love thrillers, mysteries, love stories and books about real life. My favorite book of all time is ‘Where the Crawdads Sing’ by Delia Owens. That, or ‘The Great Alone’ by Kristin Hannah . I can’t choose. They are both coming of age stories and could and SHOULD be turned into movies. I just loved the entire story line of them both.

The book I just finished was ‘Not a Happy Family‘ by Shari Lapena. It was a “who done-it” type novel but I didn’t love it. Three adult children’s parents are brutally murdered and they are trying to find out who did it. The children are suspects along with a couple others and it wasn’t very interesting to read since it felt like something I’ve read before. I will say-the killer isn’t who you think it is, so it is worth a read if you like murder mysteries!

I’m currently reading ‘Recipe for a Perfect Wife‘ by Karma Brown. I haven’t started it yet, but it seems like it’ll be a good, fall read! Here are other books that I have on my list:

  • Apples Never Fall by  Liane Moriarty
  • invisible girl by Lisa Jewell
  • Grace Year by Kim Ligget
  • My husband’s wife by Jane Corry
  • Goodnight beautiful by aimee molloy
  • the last train to key west by chanel cleeton
  • Dear Edward by Ann Napolitano

I’m always adding to my list and will most likely do another one of these posts in a few months! Until next time!
